About the Book
The full title of Guerrilla Manual gives the reader some clue as to the target audience of the book: Guerrilla Manual for Adult College Students: How to go to college (almost) full time in your spare time... and still have time to hold down a job, raise a family, pay the bills and have some fun!

This 350 page book is a compilation of Mike's long, mistake-filled journey to his degree. It is also based on lengthy personal interviews with a large number of adult students in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s - mostly people working full-time jobs, in full-time relationships, raising children, paying mortgages and credit card bills etc. etc. In other words, people a lot like you. The book also includes information and interviews with a number of college advisers who work with returning adult students.

The book covers all of the major topics a potential adult student would be interested in, including personal organization, getting the support of your family and company, choosing the right school and degree, finding the money to pay for your education, time management, learning styles, dealing with the campus bureaucracy, getting credit outside the classroom, studying and note-taking, tests and much, much more.

The book is available directly from Mike's publisher, Booklocker.com, at this link: http://www.booklocker.com/books/1358.html . Mike is happy to answer questions and can be reached through email on his site, Adultstudents.com .
